About the Program
The Wildlife Conservation and Management Program (WCMP) at Rutgers University is a part of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension. We integrate applied research, public education, and on-the-ground services to offer evidence-based solutions for addressing community needs for wildlife management, resiliency planning, and conservation. Since 2012, we have partnered with multiple individuals, organizations and communities to deliver extension programs and services across the State of New Jersey. Our interdisciplinary team of ecologists, landscape architects, engineers, educators, and wildlife biologists approach projects holistically to ensure that the needs of our partners, as well as the wildlife species we manage, are met.
